So what are y'all's favorite places to spend time? This doesn't necessarily have to mean cities, and they don't have to be places that exist,; they can be any place. So I guess what would be you're favorite place to spend time or that you would love to spend time at, and why?
My favorite places to spend time are at home with my family and dogs, in the library at the School for the Blind, schools Special Ed. classes, especially if I know some of the students, in stores with interesting stuff such as toy stores, gift shops, and stores with many products on display. I also like revisiting my old schools and other places I'm familiar with, as they bring back good memories and I like thinking of how much I can remember from them. *smile*
As for places I would like to spend time at, I would love to spend time at a big place full of any or all of these things: all kinds of Braille books including those with tactile pictures, all kinds of puzzles and toys, tactile art, and/or all kinds of talking or braille or other accessible products.
Interesting topic. As I get older, I find I really like spending more time by myself. I can be here at home, or sometimes, just riding the bus to and from work, walking to the bus stop, etc. I think the times when I've been with people I enjoyed the most are when we go visit our best friends in Denver Colorado. Their daughter is our godchild. I like the air and weather, and pople seem to be friendlier in general there than they are here in the eastern U.S. where we live.
Hmmm. The internet. And my boarding group.
On the summit of Liathach in Torridon on a warm spring day.
In my babies arms. That's the most awesome feeling. I love you!
In Wildebrew's and my bedroom, which is an oasis of peace and coziness. Apart from that, by the ocean. Any coast will do, but if I have a choice, it would be in Lacanau Ocean, Gironde, France.
On a beach. ... I forgot. And in a garden when the flowers are smelling good.
Either, er, in here on my PC, in my bedroom, on my digital piano or playing the guitar downstairs in the dinin/music room, watching Sky downstairs in our living room or spending loads and loads and loads and loads and loads of time at friends, houses.
Gosh, here we go then. in my room, because that space is mine, also, at friends houses or with my boyfriend. i'd love to spend time in austrailia and spain. also, just somewhere with lots of cushions and to have the ability to have one last conversation with my friend suzannah there. that's me done.
I love to spend time in the flat where my husband and i live, and also i go to a place in my mind where i can dream up fantasy stories. i guess i'm a real dreamer. lol
I like to spend time with friends with good fellowship and laughter.

Well, I enjoy spending majority of my time in my house or working in my backyard. Oh yeah you can't forget about daydreaming, it's one of my other favorite spots I like to think of urm be in I mean.
I like spending on my computer sending emails, surfing the net, being with my dog or some times to get away with everything stay in my bedroom listening to talking books. Michelle
As for places that exist, I like spending time in my room listening to music or outdoors taking nature walks or in the summertime being somewhere by the water. It doesn't matter whether it's an ocean, river, or lake, or even a creek that is deep enough for people to swim or wade in and splash around. I prefer natural water to swimming pools though. In the winter, I like playing in the snow and sledding or innertubing, I don't do skiing or snowboarding though. Now, as for places that don't exist, I'd absolutely love to spend time in Middle-Earth and all different places around it depending on the time period. I'd spend time with the Noldor in Tirion, in Valinor with the Valar, wandering around with the Maiar who seem to move around constantly, anywhere there are elves... it doesn't matter if it's Rivendell or Lindon or as I said earlier, Tirion or Valinor. And yes, I'd even pop by the Shire for a merry time with the Hobbits, but mostly I'd be spending time singing songs with the Eldar.
i love being near water, like calming waters, just hearing the waves of the ocean or river calm me, i also like sitting outside in the yard on warm spring days listening to the birds and the breeze and feeling the warm sun. Another place i like is being in a cabin cerounded by snow, just watching it fall is indescribable, i also like being near gardens and flowers. I guess for inside i mostly like being in my room. Oh i also like being anyware my dog is allowed, i like keeping her with me at all times if possible. Spending time with her anyware is the best. Oh, and one more thing, I like being in the mountains and camping. I love quiet serene places
Yes I like listening to the watter flowing in rivers. I find it relaxing.
My favorite place to go is the mall. I like going in to bath and body works and any of the music stores and jewelry stores. Give me a thousand bucks and I'll spend it all in one day at those places in the mall!!!! As for places I would like to go, Anywhare that is between 75 to 80 degrees. Oh yeah!!! There has to be a few beaches and palm trees
Leslie.
my favorite place to go is the lake. I like to wim during the summer. And a nother place I like is the mall so I can walk and do some shopping.
a few places:
1. in Michigan at my grandparents' house...they have a sunroom and i love being in there watching the sunrise.
2. in hammocks.
3. anywhere my abbie is.
and last but definitely not least in my boyfriend's arms...shea's right, it's the best feeling in the world to be wrapped up in that special someone's arms.
I most prefer being by myself. I'd like to spend my time in a book store/coffee shop. Problem is, all the books there are usually in print. lol. Also, if I knew I wouldn't get lost, I'd like to spend my time alone in the woods. But for now, daydreaming is my place to spend time. :)
first and foremost, in my baby's arms, second, spending time alone in my room listening to music, and being on the computer, and third, spending time with family.
Anywhere with my boyfriend, my friends, my guide dog, on the computer, and in the magical worlds I read about in books.
i liked Scotland because it was quiet and just relaxing. i loved going to um Iona which is in Scotland but i liked anywhere in Scotland or Nicaragua because i can see some of my sister church that i have with my church ..
